So first off, we have a nifty little label blog at http://minymoe.blogspot.com going on these days, to keep you up on what we do over here at the EMR office. Check it out! We’re tracking what cds we play in the office, favorite quotes of the day, reporting how the EMR shows go, and lots of other good stuff.

Next, in case you haven’t noticed from our list of shows on your right there, we’ve got quite a lineup for this week! Tonight (12/14), we’re all going ice skating at Pershing Square with Great Northern and The Submarines. Did you know? Grab your coat and gloves and come out with us, at 8pm, for Spaceland on Ice! (You know, downtown? 532 S. Olive St., to be exact.) it’s a Thursday night concert series, so make sure you check out the schedule online.

Then tomorrow night (12/15), you should head east again to El Cid in Silver Lake becauseGoldenboy is playing with Fishtank Ensemble and Dressy Bessy! Bring a date and have dinner – it’s a nice lil place. Shon and Bryan (and Daniel Conrad on bass!) go on at 10, so don’t be late.

And then, Saturday night, good ole Blue-Eyed Son is also playing with Big Sur and Dressy Bessy, at Spaceland! Come out to hear the new stuff he’s been working on! Nothing like some good acoustic pop songs and a couple drinks to round out your evening.

Of course, there’s also Sunday night, Irving and Silversun Pickups at The Troubadour, which we all know is quite SOLD OUT. (We’re gonna sneak in as roadies. Maybe.) But how exciting! What a fun week, eh? When we come dragging in this Monday, we’ll have an excuse… but you guys should probably start making up good stories now!

And since the holidays are right upon us, we have set up some Holiday Package Specials on ourwebstore. You know there’s someone on your list who could benefit from the Electronic Package, the Colored Vinyl Package (mmm!), or certainly the New Irving Packages! Go see what you can find.
