Hi folks, guess who’s visiting ze Germans this month? Irving‘s Steven Scott is living it up in Deutschland, doing interviews and acoustic sets to stir up the excitement over the release ofDeath in the Garden, Blood on the Flowers on German label, Records and Me. Not only is the album now totally available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, but thanks to Cargo Records, fans in the UK can also snag a copy! We’ve already seen evidence of Steven being Steven (above) and we’re proud of him.

In other news, Great Northern put on a great show (with great lighting) at the Plug Awards last week – check out the amazing photos at Little Radio. We’re expecting sales in red hoodies to skyrocket promptly.

And speaking of plugs, both Goldenboy and Hockey Night got some nods recently. Hockey Night’s “Rebel Fever (Who We Are)” was included in the section titled Songs You Need To Download Now inside Spin (yes, Spin. We have an East Coast kid in the office!) And Goldenboy’s “Icebreaker Blues” got a spin on Locals Only on KROQ (yes, KROQ).

In the meantime, Great Northern are still making a nice sweep up the West Coast, packing the shows so far with pals Division Day. Lucky fans in Portland, Seattle, and Visalia can still catch them this week!
