Indie rockers Goldenboy may have recently finished a lengthy tour across the US, but Shon Sullivan and company are already aching to get back onstage to play again. They’ve booked four shows in the LA area for this June and July.

Goldenboy will be playing on June 10th at Hotel Café and again on June 17th at The Press restaurant, supporting Alantic/Pacific, a rising band on No Sleep Records.
Then, on June 11th, Goldenboy will take part in the first-annual Moon Block Party in Pomona. As the event’s official Facebook page details, Moon Block Party is a FREE non-profit outdoor art and music festival to benefit THE SCHOOL OF ARTS in Downtown Pomona’s Arts Colony. There will be a ton of bands playing, including our eenie meenie friends, spacey synth pop trio Halloween Swim Team. Also, food trucks, DJs, live art, vendors, people and fun. Don’t miss out!
On Saturday July 16th, Goldenboy will hit the stage at Smiley’s Saloon in Bolinas. The long-lived Smiley’s is both a music hall and hotel that looks like a pretty sweet place to take in a show or spend a weekend.
Be sure to catch at least one of these shows, as all four of them look to be pretty special events!

How many Halloween’s did we have this year? I don’t remember, it was all a blur to me too.. I’m guessing by the assortment of costumes used in this video there were at least 2 Halloweens, but maybe 3.. Anyways, this is how Wallpaper. did Halloween n junk this year in some legit looking Burt and Ernie costumes and then some..
For most people, driving past endless truck stops and dusty, sun-drenched freeway towns doesn’t really inspire much creativity. In fact, such uneventful treks can tend to be pretty boring for everyone involved. This isn’t the case for Wallpaper., as Ricky Reed checked in from the road somewhere in Nevada during Wallpaper.’s current tour with an impromptu car rehearsal of his newest creation, “Indian Summer”.
The song, a singalong, synthed-out road trip jam, captures the feeling of being stuck on the road for hours on end, driving in oppressively hot Autumn conditions towards a more enjoyable destination.
Ricky even says so himself, introducing the video with these words:
“Touring is hard! While we’re off driving through random parts of Nevada, the SF Bay Area is having an Indian Summer and the Giants win the World Series! Wish we were home today celebrating with yall! So this desert driving tour rehearsal of our new song also titled “Indian Summer” is a tribute to our favorite place to be when its hot in Autumn. Brought to you courtesy of flip camera, duct tape, and red bull.”
Goldenboy just had a great tour around the West Coast with Fatigo and Vanessa Atalanta, and are setting up some tour dates for November and December already. And, for everyone in LA, Goldenboy will be the resident band for Casey’s Irish Bar in downtown for the month of October, so every friday night, you’ll have a chance to check out the show!
